BRIG Eagle 5 Specs & Buyer Guide

Specifications

BRIG Eagle 5 Specifications

One of 580 dinghies, tenders and RIBs in the BuyDinghy Australian database, scored against premium & jet yacht tenders rather than the market as a whole.

Where this model fits

At 4.95 m, this model sits at the standalone-boat end of the premium & jet yacht tenders. That helps define the comparison set, but storage, total package weight and local support still decide whether it belongs on a shortlist.

Its published maximum power is 115 hp; confirm the maximum engine weight and shaft length before treating that as an engine recommendation. Passenger capacity is not recorded here; ask for the current capacity plate or manufacturer documentation rather than relying on an advertisement.

Before you request a quote

• Ask the seller to identify the exact Eagle 5 model year and included configuration in writing.
• Obtain a written hull weight and clarify whether the floor, console, battery or other removable equipment is included.
• Request the complete delivered price, including unavoidable freight, preparation and registration costs.
• Confirm warranty and parts support for this exact model under BRIG's current Australian arrangement.

Fit scores

Each score is BRIG's editorial score for that job, scaled by how well a 4.95 m hull suits it. A superb manufacturer still makes boats that are wrong for your job — the curve is what says so. How this is calculated.
