Polycraft
The tender that will not mark your topsides
The brand
Polycraft is one of the strongest alternatives to aluminium because polyethylene behaves completely differently alongside a yacht. Unlike bare aluminium it is comparatively kind to gelcoat, painted topsides, pontoons and marina structures, and it does not corrode. The original Tuff Tender was designed specifically as a tender for larger craft, then became popular with fishermen for its stability and shallow draft.
Australian-built polyethylene boats.
Our take
The 300 Tuffy is the single most sensible hard tender in Australia for an owner who is tired of patching tubes and scuffing gelcoat.

Best Fishing Dinghies 3.5 to 4.2 m
The size where a dinghy stops being a car topper and becomes a proper small fishing boat: three or four aboard, a real outboard, and enough freeboard to be comfortable in a chop on an open estuary..
