One of 580 dinghies, tenders and RIBs in the BuyDinghy Australian database, scored against club, rescue & commercial ribs rather than the market as a whole.
Where this model fits
At 5.20 m, this model sits at the standalone-boat end of the club, rescue & commercial ribs. That helps define the comparison set, but storage, total package weight and local support still decide whether it belongs on a shortlist.
Maximum power is not recorded in our source data, so it should be confirmed before choosing an outboard or valuing a package. The published capacity is 9 people, but real usable payload also has to include fuel, equipment and the conditions in which the boat will operate.
Before you request a quote
- Ask the seller to identify the exact Navigator N520 model year and included configuration in writing.
- Obtain a written hull weight and clarify whether the floor, console, battery or other removable equipment is included.
- Request the complete delivered price, including unavoidable freight, preparation and registration costs.
- Confirm warranty and parts support for this exact model under BRIG's current Australian arrangement.
Fit scores
Each score is BRIG's editorial score for that job, scaled by how well a 5.20 m hull suits it. A superb manufacturer still makes boats that are wrong for your job — the curve is what says so. How this is calculated.
