The brand

The Sportyak remains an important simple hard-dinghy concept: unsinkable, rowable, cheap to run and impossible to puncture. Current Australian retail stock includes the Sportyak 245 at 2.45 m and approximately 39 kg with roughly 240 kg capacity.

The historical BIC boating line has transitioned within the TAHE brand family internationally, but many Australian buyers still know the product as a BIC Sportyak.

Our take

For a mooring tender that lives in the water and gets ignored for months, it is very hard to argue against.
