Highfield UL240 Specs & Buyer Guide

Highfield UL240 Specifications

One of 580 dinghies, tenders and RIBs in the BuyDinghy Australian database, scored against rigid inflatable yacht tenders rather than the market as a whole.

Where this model fits

At 2.40 m, this model sits at the compact end of the rigid inflatable yacht tenders. That helps define the comparison set, but storage, total package weight and local support still decide whether it belongs on a shortlist.

Its published maximum power is 6 hp; confirm the maximum engine weight and shaft length before treating that as an engine recommendation. The published capacity is 3 people, but real usable payload also has to include fuel, equipment and the conditions in which the boat will operate.

Before you request a quote

• Ask the seller to identify the exact UL240 model year and included configuration in writing.
• Obtain a written hull weight and clarify whether the floor, console, battery or other removable equipment is included.
• Request the complete delivered price, including unavoidable freight, preparation and registration costs.
• Confirm warranty and parts support for this exact model under Highfield's current Australian arrangement.

Fit scores

Each score is Highfield's editorial score for that job, scaled by how well a 2.40 m hull suits it. A superb manufacturer still makes boats that are wrong for your job — the curve is what says so. How this is calculated.
