Highfield UL260 Specs & Buyer Guide

Highfield UL260 Specifications

One of 580 dinghies, tenders and RIBs in the BuyDinghy Australian database, scored against rigid inflatable yacht tenders rather than the market as a whole.

Where this model fits

At 2.60 m, this model sits at the high-demand middle of the rigid inflatable yacht tenders. That helps define the comparison set, but storage, total package weight and local support still decide whether it belongs on a shortlist.

Its published maximum power is 8 hp; confirm the maximum engine weight and shaft length before treating that as an engine recommendation. The published capacity is 4 people, but real usable payload also has to include fuel, equipment and the conditions in which the boat will operate.

Before you request a quote

• Ask the seller to identify the exact UL260 model year and included configuration in writing.
• Obtain a written hull weight and clarify whether the floor, console, battery or other removable equipment is included.
• Request the complete delivered price, including unavoidable freight, preparation and registration costs.
• Confirm warranty and parts support for this exact model under Highfield's current Australian arrangement.

Fit scores

Each score is Highfield's editorial score for that job, scaled by how well a 2.60 m hull suits it. A superb manufacturer still makes boats that are wrong for your job — the curve is what says so. How this is calculated.
